I can see my tail getting longer

Just as when I added tags to the site, the switch to individual pages for each post is again adding on to the tail at the far end of my readership stats. Spreading out all of my posts doesn't just change the readership habits by allowing people to link more precisely from the outside, it may well influence my writing as well, as I get a better view of what people are interested in.
It actually does have a long tail

I took a look at my website stats for the last 24 hours and the tag pages have a low but steady popularity across a very wide range of tags. This distribution is different from the archive pages, which has a small number of posts getting the bulk of the readership. It shows that people are willing to browse my tag lists, but they don't browse the archive as readily. I'll have to experiment to see if this is a function of my design or something else.
